Keswick Mountaineering Club
Please note that this site is designed to work in a browser supporting frames. You may still view the content, via the links at the bottom of this page, but must return to this page using the back button on your browser.
Founded in November 1999, the club aims to bring Lake District climbers together
so that, whatever their standard, there should always be someone available to
climb with. This could be on a spring weekend, a mid-summer evening or in deepest
mid-winter. It also aims to be a focal point for climbing enthusiasts living
further afield, who visit the Lakes, and want good contacts. On top of this
is the opportunity to meet socially and share experiences.
There is a regular meet every Tuesday evening. When wet it's at the Keswick Climbing Wall (7.30pm), followed by a rendezvous at The Queens (9.15pm).
The outdoor meets list can be seen by following the links below.
We welcome anyone with an interest in mountaineering, whether they are new to the sport, or a hardened extremist!
